Who do you work with?

I specialize in working with professionals across markets that recognize the significant role visual messages play in branding, marketing, on boarding, and retaining clients or customers. My clients understand that visuals are an essential part of the success of their business.

My approach is relevant to small to mid-size organizations in most markets, and I also specialize in coaching photographers to make images and use their website as the marketing tool it needs to be, not simply a portfolio of images. If I don’t think I am the right person to help you reach your goals I will try to refer you to someone or recourses that can.

How long have you been doing this and how did you become an expert in visual branding and strategy for businesses?

I have worked with photographers and the brands that hire them or buy their images professionally for 15+ years. In the time before this I was consistently involved with school publications from elementary school through college. 

Though these experiences I gained a unique perspective of both the creators and buyers of images in a range of markets. This has enabled me to know why, what, where, and how your visual messages needs to be communicated for clients or customers to clearly understand your unique value proposition and to act on the call to action they need.

What sets you apart from other business coaches and branding consultants?

I have 15+ years of experience working with visual professionals and companies in a wide range of commerce and art. Through this I understand the unique challenges and opportunities that visuals offer. My process utilizes this in combination with marketing principles that work.

What types of personality do you work with best and what is expected of me?

The clients who have the best results are motivated to succeed and responsive to constructive criticism. I approach every project with empathy, curiosity, and a mission to help you achieve your goals. You are expected to be an active partner in the success of your goals.

What services do you offer?

I have one package designed for organizations and one for photographers. Please go to my Services pages to decide which one is right for you. Both are tailored to your unique needs and goals.

Do you have a specific process?

Yes. My approach follows a series of steps that build on each other, but they are also singular in that every step offers stand-alone value. My process is flexible to meet the needs of my clients where they need it most.

Do you have regular office hours?

My business hours are 9am - 5pm E.S.T., Monday through Friday. I generally schedule video meetings and phone calls between 9:30am – 1pm.

What types of payment do you accept and do you offer payment plans?

I accept checks, most major credit cards, and Paypal. You can pay in installments over the first three months of the program depending on the scope of work.

How do I get started?

Congratulations on taking the first step to moving your business forward! After you first email me I will send you a short questionnaire to fill out and send back. This is confidential and will help me come to our first conversation prepared to discuss your unique needs and how I can best meet them. After I review the questionnaire I will send you a link to schedule an introductory call with me. In our conversation we will go over your responses, cover where you are and where you want your business to be, and how I can help you get there.

When can we start?

We can get usually schedule our first introductory discovery call within one week and begin working together one to two weeks from then. This depends on your responsiveness and my availability.

How long does this take?

My process follows a series of steps that are collaborative so there is not a one size fits all answer. The process depends on your ability to provide responses to questions and your availability to schedule meetings.

Ideally the average identity and strategy project for organizations takes five to six months with our meetings scheduled every other week.

For photographers the average website assessment, edit, and positioning project takes one to three months. My photographer identity and strategy coaching is a five to six months process with meetings ideally scheduled twice a month. Some clients continue after this for accountability and a clear sounding board on image and strategy topics.
